ROUTE 66!
Explore the "Mother Road" on the 100th Anniversary of historic Route 66. Start in Chicago, and end at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. CLICK HERE for details.
CELEBRATE AMERICA! It isn't often we can say we have a ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME trip to offer, but we can say that about SAIL 250 scheduled for June of 2026. This is a nationwide celebration of Virginia and America's 250th anniversary, complete with a gathering of international tall ships. It's sure to be a truly unique and fantastic experience that took 250 years in the making!

The Bucket Buddies Vision
Bucket Buddies was formed to help those with "travel" on their Bucket List achieve their goals. Whether you can't find a travel buddy to make it happen, or you simply enjoy the experience of traveling with a group of like-minded individuals, we can make it happen. We've selected trips that match what our members say they're looking for...and provide safety and that extra joy of traveling with others from our Mirehaven community.
We partner with proven professionals to find exciting trips at fair prices. And we connect residents to encourage travel with others, including solo travelers looking for travel buddies.
Our Mirehaven "management team" are all volunteers, and any vendor benefits accrued from sales is returned in some manner to our members.
We meet up on the last Monday of each month, at 10:00 at the Amenity Center.
It's time to explore the world, and we can help....because if not now . . when? Come join us!
